Steven’s extensive experience means he can bring impact and positive outcomes to client businesses quickly. A Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, he’ll help you solve your complex problems in clear, approachable and profitable ways.
As a business owner himself, Steven is well-versed in the considerations and challenges of business ownership. This means that Steven can expertly support entrepreneurs in new, exciting ventures, as well as work with existing, established businesses to deliver ambitious growth plans.
Millie has worked in accountancy since September 2021, she joined our team in May 2022 having previously worked at a large regional firm.
Millie is involved in the preparation of limited company accounts, tax returns, and reviewing VAT returns, as well as completing our company’s internal bookkeeping. She is AAT qualified, and is currently studying her ACCA qualification.
Outside of work, Millie enjoys spending time outdoors in the countryside with horses and dogs, running, and swimming.
Georgia joined the team in April 2024 having previously worked as an Accounts Assistant for circa 6 years following the completion of AAT Level 3.
Forming part of the daily bookkeeping services, submission of VAT returns, Accounts work and Tax Returns, she hopes to be an ‘all-rounder’ to help you with any software needs.
She is currently completing AAT Level 4 to further her accounting knowledge and later achieve additional qualifications.
Outside of studies and work, Georgia loves to keep active, meet friends and attend car shows.
Aidan is Studying Level 2 AAT and has plans of studying further to ACCA level to be able to give accurate and relevant advice to clients to make sure that you continue to function Efficiently, smoothly and Profitably.
Aidan works with accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks and Dext) to deliver genuine and accurate daily bookkeeping as well as VAT returns and to assist with tax returns and other crucial client work.
Outside of the office Aidan regularly plays Rugby for Colchester rugby club and gets out on the golf course as much as possible.

David is an Accountant with over 15 years’ experience in helping a large number of different business owners in numerous sectors from consulting agencies to every area of construction you can think of.
At home dealing with numerous different types of accounting software from Xero to QBO and everything in between. David is always on the lookout for new technology to help business owners to create more time for themselves and their teams.
With a healthy ambition of never resting on the results of yesterday, David is at his best when working with ambitious business owners who want to improve their businesses for eventual sale.
In his spare time, David is often found cheering on his two boys at football, building Lego (which he pretends is for his boys) or watching the latest TV series on Netflix.
Chidera joined the team in February 2024, having previously worked in Accounting within industry, following completion of an Accounting and Finance degree at University in 2019.
Chidera assists win the submission of VAT returns, tax returns, and accounts preparation. She part ACCA qualified and is working toward completing the qualification to a chartered status.
Outside of work, Chidera enjoys taking part in Badminton.
Noah is studying Level 2 AAT but plans to keep progressing. Not only does he want to build his qualifications but wants to further his knowledge in order to help clients in the best way possible.
Noah works with accounting software like Quickbooks, Dext and Xero on a daily basis, meaning he is at hand to help with all queries that come his way. Noah completes daily bookkeeping, VAT returns but also helps completes tax returns and a variety of other important client work.
Outside of work he occasionally enjoys to play golf but only when plays well! Noah also enjoys to watch Arsenal play at the Emirates.
Henry is studying Level 2 AAT and wants to gain all qualifications. He wants to build his knowledge as much as possible so can help clients the best way possible. Henry works with accounting software like Quickbooks, Dext and Xero on a daily basis, meaning he can help clients with any queries they may have.
Henry completes daily bookkeeping, VAT returns and tax returns as well as a variety of other client work. In his spare time he likes to play golf, watch football and go out with friends.
Cath joined Steven Burton and Co. this year manages the office and client services. This includes working on Anti-Money Laundering requirements and being on the committee, keeping office supplies stocked up and helping to keep the whole team in order!
Outside of work, Cath spends time with friends and family and ferrying her children to their various sporting classes and activities, yoga and walking.
