The P11D form is used by UK employers to report benefits-in-kind (BiKs) given to employees or directors

Posted on 29th May 2025 by Steven Burton

These are perks or non-cash benefits that have a taxable value, such as

  • Company cars and fuel
  • Interest free loans (above £10,000)
  • Private medical insurance
  • Living Accommodation
  • Gym membership
  • Relocation expenses

When and how it is used

  • Submitted by Employers (not employees)
  • Submitted to HMRC (UK tax authority)
  • Deadline is 6 July 2025 for tax year ending 5 April 2025
  • Payment deadline for Class 1A IC’s 22 July 2025

What do you need to do?

  • Review Benefits-in-Kind:
Take a moment to check if yourself (directors) or any employees have received taxable perks such as company cars, private medical insurance, or other non-cash benefits.
