Your tax return must be filed by:
- 31 October 2025 if submitted by paper.
- 30 December 2025 if you want HM Revenue & Customs to automatically collect tax you owe from your wages or pension (if applicable to you).
- 31 January 2026 if filed online.
Your tax return will be filed securely online unless you request otherwise.
So, what do we need from you?
In order to assist you in completing your tax return, we require information concerning a number of possible sources of income from the below list:
1) Employment Income
Did you receive any employment income during the tax year? If so, please provide us with a copy of your P60, P45, and P11D. These documents should be available from your employer, alternatively you can use your personal tax account to view and print the information or contact HM Revenue and Customs ( HMRC ) and ask for the information.
2) Self employed or Partnership Income
Did you trade as a sole trader or partner in a business during the tax year? If so, click on the button below and complete the Self-Employed Checklist and provide us with the relevant information.

3) High Income Child Benefit Charge
Please click on the button below and complete the Child Benefit checklist to enable us to determine if the High Income Child Benefit Charge applies to you.

4) State Benefits
Did you receive any state benefits during the tax year? If so, please provide details of how much you received.
5) Rental Income
Do you have property which you rent out? If so, please click on the button below and complete the Rental Property Checklist and provide us with the relevant information.

6) Bank and other interest
Did you receive any bank or other interest during the tax year? If so, please provide us with a statement confirming the amount received and any tax deducted at source.
7) Pension Contributions
Did you or your employer make any contributions into a pension during the tax year? If so, please provide us with details of how much was contributed and to whom.
8) Pension Income
Did you receive any pension income from a private pension or a state pension during the tax year?
9) Dividends
Did you receive any dividend income during the tax year? If so, please provide us with a copy of the relevant dividend vouchers.
10) Student Loans
Do you have a student loan? If so, please let us know the type of loan, payments made and interest incurred.
11) Marital Status
Please let us know your current marital status, as married couples may be able to claim the Married Couple’s Allowance or Marriage Allowance.
12) Capital Gains Tax
Have you made any asset purchases or disposed of any assets by way of sale or gift? If so, please provide us with details of the price paid and any associated costs incurred.
13) Any Other Information?
If you have received any other income or made any other expenditure that you feel may be relevant to your tax affairs, please provide us with details.
